Diablo IV: Season of Infernal Chaos

There’s a new season in Diablo IV and it looks like it might be a bit more…..chaotic than usual. Season 10, titled “Infernal Chaos” is here and it’s bringing some new bits with it that might drag you back into Sanctuary.

We’re a little soured on the idea of seasons in Diablo, truth be told. But for those out there with a better attitude than us, there’s a lot to be excited about!

Get ready to face the Lord of Chaos himself, as Bartuc, the Warlord of Blood, makes his grand return. He’s bringing with him a whole host of chaotic new challenges that will push even the most seasoned wanderers to their limits.

What’s New in Infernal Chaos?

Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect from Season 10.

New Big Bad: The main man this season is Bartuc, the Lord of Chaos. This Vizjerai Warlord will be summoning Chaos Portals to mess with the battlefield and keep you on your toes.

Infernal Hordes Reignited: The endgame wave-based mode is getting a serious overhaul. Expect “Chaos Waves” that will escalate the encounters and really test your build.

Chaos Rifts: These unpredictable portals will be tearing their way through Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons. Sealing them will net you some massive rewards.

Chaos Armor: A new twist on Uniques! Classic Unique items will now have a chance to roll at maximum power. And they can even be equipped in non-traditional slots. You can get your hands on this by taking down Bartuc in the Infernal Hordes.

Chaos Perks: To help you fight back against the chaos, you’ll be able to harness some devastating new Chaos Perks.

Get Ready for the Chaos

Diablo IV Season Ten: Infernal Chaos is shaping up to be a frantic and action-packed season.

With the revamped Infernal Hordes and the new Chaos Rifts, it sounds like they’ll add a fresh layer of challenge and reward to the endgame grind. Which has become sorely lacking recently.

We’re particularly excited to see how the Chaos Armor shakes up the meta with its unique new properties. Maybe it’ll make some of the lesser-used classes a bit more viable?

The new season launched on September 23, 2025. So, get your builds ready, because Sanctuary is about to get a whole lot more chaotic!
