Shenmue is a series that helped define and shape my love of games. Playing the original 2 games on Dreamcast are memories that I still refer back to when thinking about the quality and impact of modern games.
Forklift driving, looking for a Sailor, pachinko machines and gashapon. It was exposure and insight into Japan in a way that I hadn’t encountered in my formative years, before.
I actually recently purchase Shenmue III for a play through in 2025. But now we might expedite it with the news that publishing rights have been transferred. It feels like fate calling and telling me to get back to Ryo asap!

Following the previous collaboration on Air Twister, this will deepen the relationship with the legendary creator Yu Suzuki and his team. Known for our commitment to celebrating beloved titles and bringing them to new platforms, ININ Games is excited to shepherd Shenmue III into its next phase.
This exciting transfer coincides with two momentous milestones: the 25th anniversary of the Shenmue series and the 5th anniversary of Shenmue III.
