Return to a Classic: Iwo Jima Reimagined

That’s right, the legendary battleground of Iwo Jima is back! A staple of Battlefield 1942, 1943, and V, the iconic map has been completely reimagined for the world of 2042. Prepare for intense combat across a 700×200 map featuring classic boat landings, fortified bunkers, and sprawling trenches. Oh, and one more thing—DICE has added an active volcano to the mix.

This is such a big addition and Iwo Jima is an all-time favourite here at ninjarefinery.com so it’s a massive win for us!

New Hardware Deployed

Update 9.2.0 is adding two new weapons and two legendary vehicles to your arsenal.

New Weapons:

  • KFS2000: A formidable bullpup assault rifle, the KFS2000 boasts high accuracy and superior control, making it a versatile choice for any engagement.
  • Lynx: This vicious semi-automatic anti-materiel sniper rifle is a gift for players who participated in the Battlefield 6 Open Beta. Don’t worry if you missed out; DICE has confirmed that all players will have a chance to unlock it later. Its powerful cartridge is designed to shred environments and put a serious dent in enemy vehicles.

New Vehicles:

Prepare for the thunderous roar of close air support! Two of the most iconic ground-attack jets in military history are now available in All-Out Warfare.

  • A-10 Warthog: The legendary “BRRRRT” is back. This tank-buster is built to dominate the ground game.
  • SU-25TM Frogfoot: The A-10’s counterpart, the Frogfoot is a rugged and heavily armed jet designed to obliterate vehicle convoys.

Free “Road to Battlefield” Battle Pass

From August 18th to October 7th, all players can progress through a new 60-tier Battle Pass, completely free. This pass is a celebration of the franchise’s history, featuring over 50 rewards inspired by Battlefield 1, V, Bad Company 2, 3, and 4.

Key Gameplay Changes and Full Patch Notes

This update is packed with bug fixes and balance changes. The most significant is a major overhaul to air combat. With the introduction of the A-10 and SU-25 as dedicated ground-attack jets, existing fighter jets (F-35, SU-57, and XFAD-4 Draugr) have been re-tuned to focus more on air-to-air dogfighting, with reduced effectiveness against ground targets.

Below are the full, detailed patch notes straight from the developers.
