Just when we thought Epic Games couldn’t top the record-breaking Fortnite x Simpsons crossover, they have decided to pivot from Springfield to something a little sharper. Grab your yellow tracksuits and katanas: Quentin Tarantino is coming to Fortnite.
In a massive reveal, Epic announced that the next major in-game event will serve as a direct narrative sequel to the Kill Bill movies. Titled “The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge,” this isn’t just a licensed skin drop—it is an animated film directed and written by Tarantino himself, utilizing the Fortnite engine.
I can’t be the only one that thinks this is weird, and frankly a massive surprise. I can’t fathom how this came about, at all. A Tarantino movie in Fortnite? What is this world?
The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge
The new film brings back Uma Thurman to voice the iconic Beatrice Kiddo (The Bride). She will face off against a new threat: Yuki Yubari, the vengeance-seeking sister of Gogo Yubari (the terrifying teenager with the meteor hammer from Vol. 1).
While Tarantino is no stranger to animation—fans will remember the stunning Origins of O-Ren anime sequence in Vol. 1—this marks the first time a Kill Bill story has premiered entirely outside of the silver screen.
Fortnite is breaking new ground and mixing mediums like we’ve not really seen before.
How to Watch the Premiere
You can catch the global premiere of the film inside Fortnite. The distinct “movie night” vibe suggests a return to the communal viewing experiences of previous chapters.
- Date: November 30th
- Time: 2pm ET / 11am PT / 7pm GMT / 8pm CET
- Lobby Open: 30 minutes prior to showtime (Get in early to avoid queues!)

How to Unlock the Skins (Free & Exclusive)
Epic is being surprisingly generous with this event, but there is a catch for collectors who want the full set.
- Yuki Yubari (Free) You don’t even need to watch the film to grab the main antagonist’s skin.
Requirement: Simply log in to Fortnite anytime between now and December 1st. The Yuki Yubari skin will be added to your locker automatically.
- Gogo Yubari (Cinema Exclusive) Here is where it gets tricky. If you want the original Gogo Yubari skin, you have to leave the house.
- The Event: Select theaters across the USA, Canada, and the UK will screen The Lost Chapter alongside Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair (the combined cut of Vol. 1 and Vol. 2).
- Date: December 5th.
- The Loot: Ticket holders will receive a redemption code for the Gogo Yubari outfit. As of right now, this is the only known way to obtain this skin.
Will It Stick?
Following the massive success of the recent Simpsons collaboration, which brought lapsed players back in droves, all eyes are on this event. Kill Bill offers a stark tonal shift from the family-friendly Simpsons, leaning into stylized action and cinema history.
Will the promise of a canonical Tarantino sequel be enough to break the concurrent player records again? We’ll find out on November 30th.
