Milla Jovovich is here as the new Celebrity Elusive Target in Hitman World of Assassination. Whilst we haven’t ventured to Dartmoor to see what’s going on, IO Interactive have dropped a big batch of patch notes.
There might be change afoot in the game with the new target. But there’s a lot more change going on than just a new target.
We’ve got all the details for you.
Hitman patch 3.260.1
We’ve long praised Hitman here at Ninja Refinery for its depth and the way IOI continues to support the game years after release.
Wednesday’s patch was a mix of much-needed technical fixes and some “quality of life” tweaks that’ll make your next Freelancer run just a little bit smoother.
Finally, Nintendo Cross-Progression is Here
The big news for the portable crowd is that Nintendo Cross-Progression is finally live. If you’ve been splitting your time between PC/Console and the Switch, you can now sync your Player Level, Mastery, and gear.
There is a small caveat, though: a few achievements (like Silent Sniper and Stylish Assassin) might not sync automatically and will need to be re-earned.
Honestly? Any excuse to go back into Mendoza or Hokkaido for a fresh Silent Assassin run is a win in my book. Hitman is always a great time.

Freelancer Gear Management
For those of us obsessed with the Freelancer Safehouse (I spend far too much time organizing that weapon wall). IOI has streamlined the thematic gear walls.
Instead of separate walls, you now have one wall with a “scroll” feature to flip through pages of gear.
They’ve also added a third page specifically for the Patient Zero Requiem DLC items.
It’s a small change, but it makes the hitman’s den feel much less cluttered.
The Highlights (and the Weird Stuff)
As with any Hitman patch, the bug fixes range from “thank god they fixed that” to “I didn’t even know that was a thing.”
- The Pink Sticker is Back: The MK II ducks were missing their iconic pink “2” sticker. This has been corrected. The universe is in balance once again.
- Celebrity Suits: There’s a new “Celebrity” category in the suits menu for all those Elusive Target unlocks (looking at you, Slim Shady).
- Fatal Grapes: In a bizarre fix, NPCs in Mendoza will no longer randomly die just by bending over near stacked containers of grapes. Death by fruit—even for this game—was a bit much.
- Subtitles for “The Reflection”: If you’re playing the newer content, you’ll now see speaker indicators so you know exactly when Diana or Eminem is buzzing in your ear.

Mac Support & Patch Sizes
Interestingly, the patch notes mention Mac support is now officially in the mix.
Patch sizes vary wildly depending on your platform, ranging from a light 2GB up to a massive 13GB.
If you’re on iOS, they’ve also improved the patching process so you only download changed data—perfect if you’re trying to squeeze in a contract on your lunch break.
The season will in full swing now, so grab a fresh brew, check your gear, and good luck out there, 47.
