Two Point Studios seemingly just cannot stop! With Two Point Museum set to receive another big updated. This time in the form of a new paid DLC.
Perfectly poised to keep the game in our minds for the Game of the Year discussion (it’s on our shortlist already!). The Two Point Museum team has just dropped a massive FAQ detailing their second paid DLC, Zooseum, and it looks like an absolute game-changer.
Moving beyond standard museum exhibits, this new expansion dives headfirst into wildlife conservation and management, bringing a whole zoo experience to your curated halls.
This has us absolutely buzzing to get stuck into a new type of museum!
Zooseum Content Breakdown
This isn’t a small update. The studio explicitly stated that Zooseum is a larger, longer DLC pack compared to their first offering, Fantasy Finds, justifying a slight bump in price for a significant content boost.
Here’s everything you can expect when you dive in:
- New Location & Campaign: Establish your operations in the scenic Silverbottom Park and tackle a brand-new, comprehensive five-star campaign.
- Wildlife Experts: Hire the new Wildlife Expert staff type to help manage your living exhibits.
- 40+ Wildlife Exhibits: A huge range of Habitat and Terrarium Animals, big and small, are waiting to be rescued and housed.
- New Rooms: Two specialized rooms are being added. With the Habitat room and the Wildlife Welfare room.
- Expedition Map: Explore a new area, the Farflung Isles, to find and rescue new specimens.
- Decor & Utility: Look forward to new adorable gift shop items, workshop items (including interactive displays), and new utility and decoration pieces.
Release Dates and Pricing
Everything but the Switch 2 is getting the Zooseum DLC on 2nd December 2025. That’s a week away! Two Point Museum updates don’t dilly-dally, do they?!
Price Point
The DLC is going to cost £9.99 / €10.99 / $10.99. The developers note the increased content—specifically the five-star story campaign and new level—is why the price is higher than the previous expedition-based DLC.
Early Bird Discount
If you want to save a bit of cash, you can grab a 10% early adopter’s bonus for the first week after launch. (Note for PS5 players: the discount applies to PS+ subscribers only).

Free Content and Early Access Taster!
Perhaps the biggest surprise is the amount of free content coming to all players, even those who don’t buy the DLC!
The studio is rolling out Update 7.0 on 25th November 2025, which includes general quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and optimisations.
Alongside this update, all players on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S will get a Zooseum Free Taster:
- Free Location: All players get the new Silverbottom Park location and its campaign up until the first star.
- Free Expedition Points: You can play up to the first three Points of Interest on the new Expedition map.
- Permanent Unlocks: This is not a demo! You will permanently unlock and keep the new Wildlife Expert staff type, new decor, and an interactive display earned through the early stages of the Enlightenment track.
Unlock Conditions & Achievements
When does the campaign start?
The new Zooseum campaign in Two Point Museum unlocks in your career after you successfully complete the first star of Memento Mile (the game’s first city location). The content is available in Sandbox mode immediately.
Achievements
Good news for completionists! The DLC will include five new achievements/trophies for players to earn.
Overall, this is another big piece of content that looks like it will dramatically change how Two Point Museum is played. Adding a whole new dimension of living, breathing exhibits to manage.
Let’s get Zoo-Keeping!
This is such a great addition to Two Point Museum and it’s likely another triumph in a long list of success for Two Point Studios and the game.
The continued support, updates (largely for free!) and ongoing developement of the game is impressive. Let’s not forget the fact that the full game was released in 2025 with no issues and only a few minor bugs. Unheard of in this day and age!
Two Point Museum is the gift that keeps on giving and an absolutely stellar release. Now we get to add a new Zooseum to the list of museums we manage and run, and that’s bloody amazing.
