Two Point Museum: Welcome to the Digiverse!

Holy cow, Two Point Studios seem incapable of stopping! Another free update has been announced for Two Point Museum, already!

Get ready to welcome the Digiverse. A new expedition map that will take you on a journey through the history of Two Point County’s most beloved (and probably buggiest) video game series, Meat Wizard.

The update is set to release on August 28th 2025. So you won’t have to wait long to get your hands on this new content.

More to explore

The Digiverse update introduces a whole new area to explore in the form of a new expedition map. A mysterious coffee spill on a Meat Wizard arcade machine has torn a hole in the fabric of space-time, opening up rifts to a digital dimension. As a museum curator, you’ll be able to send your Digital Experts into these rifts. Get ready to uncover the secrets of the Meat Wizard franchise.

You’ll get to explore the history of Meat Wizard 1 & 2 and even uncover some of the darkest secrets of the series.

The update will feature seven new exhibits spread across four new points of interest. You’ll also be able to build two new interactive displays: the Meat Wizard Arcade Machines, which are sure to be a hit with your museum visitors.

More Than Just a New Map

On top of the new expedition map, the Digiverse update will also introduce a new Power Ups project for your workshop. With new boons to help with your museum management. The developers have also promised that the Digiverse map will continue to grow over time. With new rifts, exhibits, and gameplay being added in the future.

This new content is all part of the free 5.0 update, which will also include a host of quality-of-life improvements. As well as bug fixes, and optimizations to make your museum-running experience even smoother.

To get started in The Digiverse, the expedition map will be unlocked for all players. As long as they have completed the City Act 2 (Memento Mile) in the base game.

So, get ready to dive into the digital world and add some 8-bit flair to your museum when the Digiverse update for Two Point Museum launches on August 28th for PC, Xbox X|S, and PlayStation.

5.0 already?!

It’s insane to me that the rate of updates hasn’t ceased. Two Point Museum released in great shape, and we reviewed it with high praise!

But it’s going from strength to strength and with a Dredge-themed crossover out as of today as a part of the Digiverse update. There’s no signs of stopping.

It feels like Two Point Studios properly planned for the longevity of this one, compared to the previous games. And new we’re all reaping the benefits!
