We need to celebrate 500 posts somehow, and what better way than sharing the absolute joy that is Marvel’s Midnight Suns. One of the best games from the past five years, and one of the best tactical games ever.
Highly overlooked and underrated, it’s a tactical gem that deserves so much more love. So, we’re here to share it!

Midnight Suns
We’ve reviewed Marvel’s Midnight Suns already, and we’re now working on our second play through.
It’s somehow better, and whilst there’s an element of “oh damn, I have to do that again” on occasion.
A solid roster of Marvel characters, from Iron Man to Magik and Spider-Man to Blade. Finding the heroes that work for you and then creating a flow with the right team combination is addictive.
Using cards, managing your desk per character, to continually improve your moves and skills.
It’s got a bit of everything, and it’s made by Firaxis, who make the Xcom games. Tell me that isn’t tactical game pedigree?
One of the big put-offs for some in Midnight Suns is the social element of it. Whereby you’re talking to team mates, fostering relationships and taking on more story exposition. We personally love how it plays-out, so don’t let it put you off.

Written reviews are less common, in favour of videos. But we’ll continue to write and share thoughts the old fashioned way, so you can take it in at your own leisure.
