Two Point Museum 2.0 is here

Ok, this is a big one. The latest dispatch from Two Point County has landed, and it’s a game-changer. Update 2.0 for Two Point Museum is live, and it’s bringing a wave of new customization options. Plus, a much-needed crackdown on those sticky-fingered thieves that have been upsetting me for a while.

Our review picked-up on this gripe and I’ll be honest, it’s nice to feel vindicated in a small way. Seeing it as a core focus in this hefty update is great. Two Point Studios clearly listen, understand and support the wider community. It’s so good to see.

Two Point 2.0

By now, you’re likely intimately familiar with the joys and woes of curating the perfect exhibition in your museum. Balancing budgets, and keeping your staff from spontaneously combusting (figuratively, mostly).

But let’s face it, thievery has been the biggest thorn in our sides.

This meaty update throws down the gauntlet to would-be art heisters with the introduction of a brand-spanking-new 360° Security Camera in Two Point Museum.

Imagine it: a watchful, rotating eye, sweeping across your galleries and making life significantly harder for those light-fingered mofos.

And if that wasn’t enough, the Two Point Museum Update 2.0 patch notes gleefully detail that thieves will now move slower when attempting their daring escapes.

More than security

But it’s not all about locking down your loot in your museums.

For the interior design aficionados among us, Update 2.0 is a veritable treasure trove.

Prepare to feast your eyes on 23 new floor and wallpaper options, ranging from elegant “Marble Diamond Large Cold” to the wonderfully wintery “Snowed In.”

Whether you’re aiming for a frosty prehistoric display or a sleek, modern art gallery in Two Point Museum, there’s something here to tickle your aesthetic fancy.

Beyond the headlines

Sandbox players will also be thrilled with the expanded customization.

Now you can toggle those sometimes-tedious Curator Class objectives. You can unlock all Enlightenment decor and Kudosh items. And now, you can even tinker with the Custom Contraptions project right from the get-go in Two Point Museum.

The power to create your ultimate Two Point Museum sandbox is now truly in your hands.

Update 2.0 is packed with quality-of-life improvements for your Two Point Museum experience.

Staff morale should see a boost, and they’ll level up their skills at a faster rate. Plus, you’ll now get inbox notifications when staff go MIA – hopefully leading to fewer unexplained disappearances in your museum!

To keep your workforce ticking, two new staff room items have arrived, too. A microwave (for longer-lasting full tummies) and a Staff Desk (for passive XP gains). We’re all for a happier, more efficient team managing our museums.

Expeditions and more

Expedition enthusiasts in Two Point Museum, rejoice!

Finding those elusive pristine exhibits just got a whole lot easier. Fully surveying a point of interest now significantly increases your chances of unearthing a top-quality artifact in Two Point Museum.

Furthermore, inspecting an exhibit or delving into its sticker book entry will now reveal its origin point on the map, streamlining your treasure hunts in Two Point Museum.
